South of France Wedding Photographer
For couples who want stunning images
without being pulled away from the party.
I am Kerry Morgan, a wedding photographer based in the South of France. I photograph weddings across Occitanie, including Hérault, Aude, Gard and the surrounding regions.
This website documents my approach to wedding photography, including real weddings, venue-specific guides, pricing information and practical advice for couples planning a destination wedding in the South of France.
My work focuses on relaxed, natural photography with clear direction when needed. I work discreetly during the day and efficiently during portraits and group photographs.
Couples typically book me for full-day wedding coverage at private homes, vineyards and château venues.

Bonjour, I’m Kerry!
South of France Wedding Photographer
Couples come to me because they want beautiful, natural photographs without feeling like the day has turned into a photoshoot. After more than 1,500 weddings across Occitanie, Hérault, Languedoc and the wider South of France, I know the best images happen when you feel relaxed, happy and completely present with the people you love.
My approach is calm and unobtrusive. I blend in like a friend with a camera, capturing real moments as they unfold and guiding you only when it helps. The result is a collection of elegant, honest images that tell the true story of your day and let you relive the feeling every time you look at them.
Whether you are marrying in a sunlit vineyard, a quiet village square or one of the region’s beautiful châteaux, I work with the light, the location and the rhythm of your celebration to create timeless photographs that feel like you.
You can explore real weddings here to see how I capture the joy and atmosphere of each day.
What you’ll feel on the day
You’ll spend your time celebrating, not posing.
You’ll be right there in the moment, surrounded by the people you love, while I quietly capture it all.
When you look back, your photos will tell the real story, full of beauty, emotion and all the little moments you didn’t see at the time.

Why couples choose me
Over the years, I’ve photographed more than 1,500 weddings and built a reputation for calm direction, elegant portraits and a discreet presence on the day.
I’ve judged the UK Wedding Industry Awards, appeared on Channel 4’s Escape to the Chateau and written a best-selling book, A Guide to Wedding Photojournalism. My work has been featured by Junebug Weddings, Fearless Photographers and Style Me Pretty, as well as in You & Your Wedding, The London Evening Standard and New York Brides.
These experiences have shaped my approach. I know how to work quickly, stay calm and make people feel at ease. Couples trust me to capture the fun, the emotion and the beauty of the day without ever feeling staged or over-directed.
WHAT to eXpect
Your wedding day should never feel like a production.
My role is to document what unfolds naturally, from the big emotional moments to the quiet ones in between.
When it’s time for portraits or group shots, I work efficiently and gently so you can get back to celebrating. The moments flow easily and naturally, so you never feel pulled away from the celebration.
I focus on making honest, beautiful images that tell the story of your day. The kind of photographs that feel alive whenever you look at them.

Working across the South of France
I’m based near Pézenas in Hérault and regularly photograph weddings in Béziers, Montpellier, Carcassonne, Narbonne, Uzès, Nîmes and into Provence
Most of the couples I work with are planning from abroad, often from the UK, Ireland or the United States. I understand the challenges of organising a destination wedding from a distance and help everything run smoothly from this side, from timings and light to the small details that make a real difference.
Favourite venues
I regularly photograph weddings at some of the South of France’s most beautiful venues, including Château Les Carrasses, Château Saint Pierre de Serjac, Château Rieutort, Domaine Saint Hilaire, Seigneurie de Peyrat, Château Capitoul, Château Saint Cécile, Château du Puits es Pratx, Domaine de Noé, Domaine Le Castelet, Le Manoir d’Amiel, Château Canet, Abbaye de Valmagne and Château de Pondres.
Do you photograph weddings across Occitanie and the South of France?
Yes. I am based near Pézenas in Hérault and regularly photograph weddings in Béziers, Montpellier, Carcassonne, Narbonne, Uzès and Perpignan, Arles, Nîmes and Toulouse. I know the region well and work with the light and setting of each place.
What is your wedding photography style?
My style is relaxed and natural. I mix documentary photography with elegant portraits. I capture what is really happening without interrupting the flow of the day, guiding only when it helps.
Do you photograph château weddings?
Yes. I specialise in château weddings across the South of France and often work at venues such as Château Les Carrasses, Château Rieutort, Serjac and many others in Hérault and Languedoc. I know these spaces well and understand how to work with the light and the architecture.
Do you photograph small weddings and elopements?
Absolutely. I photograph everything from intimate elopements to full destination weddings. The size of the celebration does not change my approach. I focus on the emotion, the atmosphere and the people you love.
We are planning our wedding from the UK, US or Ireland. Can you help?
Most of my couples plan from abroad. I guide you through timing, light, local knowledge and anything that helps make the day run smoothly. You will always know what to expect and feel supported throughout.
How many weddings do you photograph each year?
I take on a maximum of fifteen weddings per year. This gives every couple the attention and care they deserve and allows me to stay focused and present on each celebration.
How far in advance do couples book you?
Most couples book between nine and eighteen months ahead, especially for summer dates. If you are early in your planning, it is always worth checking availability.
Let’s Work Together!!!
